It’s been almost a month since we last published an update. Sorry about that but you can see that we have been busy!

If you have been following our progress you can see that our ICF Home on Benning Drive in Destin, FL is coming along nicely.

As of this morning, all plumbing, electrical, and the HVAC system is complete.

We are now getting ready to hang drywall while the bricks on the outside of the home are being added.

We have been moving right along with our ICF Home on Benning Drive in Destin.

Just a few weeks ago we were pouring ICF Walls with concrete. Now we have the framing and roof complete, as well as the doors and windows installed.

If you haven’t had a chance to drive by the lot and see this home for yourself, we encourage you to do so.

Today we began the process of putting the trusses on the Tucker Project.

UPDATE: It took us about 2 weeks to get it all complete. That includes all of our with rain delays.

Last week we added pictures of our ICF Walls going up at the Tucker Lot.

Now that they are in place, we can begin pouring the concrete into the ICF walls.

It’s this very concrete that typically makes the process of building an ICF home longer due to curing time.

But the end result is worth it.

Now that the lot is cleared and the concrete poured, the Tucker Lot is at the point where we have started to add our ICF Walls.

The ICF block wall is a total of 12” thick which includes 7” of solid concrete, and 2.5” of foam on each side.

The foam is for insulation and sound. It also creates the building process for stacking the blocks.

If you happened to be driving down Benning Drive in Destin yesterday then you saw us in action! How could you miss the cement trucks that took up the right hand lane?

Yesterday we poured the foundation for our new ICF home, as well as the concrete for the pool deck.

It’s been a productive day at the Tucker Lot on Benning Drive in Destin, and our guys have been working hard!

We are digging footers in preparation for the ICF Blocks, doing the rough-in plumbing, and prepping for the foundation and concrete.

Wait until you see these ICF Blocks!

We have been building our Custom ICF Homes in Fort Walton Beach, and now have the opportunity to take them to Destin.

We are really excited about this project. It’s located at 302 Benning Drive with a lot size of 90×200.

The house will be approximately 3500 sq.ft. when it’s all said and done!

We decided to keep the foundation of the house below the crown of the road to match the existing neighbors. By doing this we will not create any issues with water or drainage, and will fit nicely into the neighborhood.
